There are a plethora of products being marketed on the internet that their authors claim are essential for building a successful Affiliate Marketing business.
A lot of these products may have worked…
once upon a time…
But the internet has moved on and they won't work for you any more.
For many of the rest of the rest, you have to start from a certain point. If you are not there, then those products won’t help your business.
So, here are six levels of maturity between Newbie and Super Affiliate. This will give you a framework which you can use to judge and any products that are promoted to you in the future and decide when in the course of your businesses development you should use it
Stage 1 – Newbie / startup– You need to create a website with Quality Content
Starting point – you don’t have a website – or your site is low quality
The first step is the toughest of all.
What should my website theme be and how does that match to in-demand keywords? What is high-quality content? How will I build it? How should it look and feel? Where will it be hosted? How can I make it satisfy both humans who visit and the search engine bots?
Stage 2 – Make your content Pre-Sell
Starting point – You have started to build a website
Now you need to start to create content that will lead your visitors to your monetization. How?
Stage 3 – Build traffic…
Starting point – You have a website with Quality Content.
Traffic building via Link Exchanges should start when you have around 10 pages
But most of your traffic building should happen as you get to 25-30 pages
If you have a website, are you happy with its traffic?
Stages 1-3 raise far too many questions for me to answer in this short article. Instead, you need this excellent free download - The Affiliate Masters course - that will answer these questions – get it here.
Affiliate Marketing Maturity model - Stage 4 – Monetize
Starting point – You have a website with some traffic.
If you have a website, have you considered all the ways you can get money from your visitors – Top of your list should be
- Promote your Affiliate programs.
- Sell advertising on your web page – or use Adsense .
- You may already have a product. If not, as you succeed, you should certainly seriously consider creating one
Warning – there are some directories that will not list your site if it is full of advertisements. Seriously consider hold off adding paid ads or Adsense ads to your site until you are listed – and that can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months
Stage 5 – Tweak your site
Starting point - you have a website, you’re happy with it and it is making some money.
Now you want to squeeze that little extra without too much work.
Stage 6 – Supercharge your site
Starting point - you have a tweaked website
Now you’re ready to take it to the next level.
Again, the actions you need to take for Stages 4-6 raise far more questions for than can answer in this short article. You will find the answers together with free downloads and further Affiliate Marketing Help, Tips and information at New Era Affiliate Marketing Information
